Graphic Realism and video games

This project will be researched internationally and lead by Catherine Friend at the EFPSA European Summer School 2019.​

This study found that perceived realism, previous experience with a character and types of realism all DID influenced empathy and enjoyment to video games characters.

  • The 30th Annual Congress for the European Federation of Psychology Students' Associations, Portugal, 2016.

  • Psychological Society of Ireland SIGMAC conference 2015.

      Best undergraduate student presentation winner
